Set up your System using the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager API

Before you can add products, you first set up your system by adding a required password to your locker, adding a data center, and adding a vCenter Server to the data center. Adding the vCenter Server requires the locker password.

Prerequisites

Verify that all general prerequisites have been satisfied. See Installing and Importing Products Using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager APIs.

Procedure

Create a password in a password store.

Create a data center.

Get all data centers.

A snippet of the response shows the ID of the data center you created.

Assign the VM ID of the data center to a variable name.
