Configure vMA to Use a Static IP Address
During the first boot, you can configure vMA to use a DHCP server or specify a static IP address. The DHCP server assigns a network address, allowing you to run the virtual machine without setup. This network address might change after the virtual machine has been powered off longer than the DHCP lease time. Most server applications should be configured to a static network address that is constant and well-known.
