About This Book

The Guest and HA Application Monitoring SDK Programming Guide provides information about developing applications using the VMware® Guest Application Programming Interface.

VMware provides several different software development kit (SDK) products. They target different developer communities and platforms. This guide is intended for developers who want to retrieve information about the virtual machine and host hardware where the application runs. The supported VMware platforms include ESXi 5.0, ESXi 5.1, ESXi 5.5, ESXi 6.0, and ESXi 6.5.
