Installing New VMware Workbench Software Packages
You can add VMware Workbench software packages and certification tests or update existing packages using the Install dialog. You can reach the Install dialog two ways: Help > Install New Software, or click Install in the Dashboard Development panel under SDKS, after you have logged in/
Software packages can be installed from a site you already entered using the Available Software Sites mechanism, from the network update site, or from a local directory (by downloading the ZIP packages to a local directory first).

The system calculates the requirements and dependencies for the packages you have selected.
Note The Contact all update sites during install to find required software check box is not automatically selected in the Install wizard here, unlike when installing plug-ins from the Dashboard. In addition, non-VMware Update Sites are not disabled here as they are when installing from the Dashboard.
(Optional) You can expand VMware Workbench <package name> in the Name field to see the list of components included in the download. While you can choose to exclude some or all of the components by deselecting them, this step is not necessary because the installation software prevents you from installing duplicate or unnecessary components.

Review the Install Details and click Next.
4
Review the license notice and select I accept the terms of the license agreement, and click Finish. The installation proceeds. This step can take several minutes to complete. You cannot install the software without agreeing to the license terms.
5
If you have other packages to install, click Not Now.
If you want to apply the changes without restarting Eclipse, click Apply Changes Now.
This is only applicable for some add-ons. If it does not apply to your add-on, then it functions the same as clicking Not Now.
If you are finished installing software packages, click Restart Now to restart Eclipse.
